Who are Navigators
How the Navigators can help you
College Navigators are people whose job is to make sure you get any assistance you need. They provide support in the following ways:
- By providing students with referrals to network or community providers based on factors including, but not limited to, location, language, and clinical specialty
- By helping students get connected with local on- and off-campus resources
- By following up with students who have been referred to off-campus resources to ensure they have received or are in the process of receiving care
- Supporting students through an 8-session online cognitive behavioral training course (ICare) ideal for individuals with mild to moderate anxiety and depression who do not need psychotherapy
- Students’ interactions with the Navigators will be communicated back to the Counseling Center via the daily report file
