EPP and P-12 Clinical Faculty Orientation and Training

Welcome to the Online EPP and P-12 Clinical Faculty Orientation and Training!

This orientation and training is designed for all Educator Preparation Provider (EPP) clinical faculty (university supervisors) and P-12 mentor teachers who are directly involved in the preparation of initial teacher candidates at Valdosta State University (VSU). University supervisors and P-12 mentor teachers play an important role in developing the teacher candidates’ knowledge, skills, and dispositions through their support and assessment during field experiences and clinical practice.

Please read through each standard tab on the right to understand VSU’s expectations for our interns. Once you complete this, you will be required to view a video and score it using the Intern Keys/CAPS (Candidate Assessment on Performance Standards) scoring instrument.
