On Friday evening, Dr. Bergstrom, VSU Ornithologist, will be listening for night-flying flocks of migrant songbirds (e.g., thrushes), which give unique calls as they fly south overhead. Join Dr. Bergstrom and other local birders throughout the day Saturday to document resident and migrant species of birds in the woods, ponds and fields around Grassy Pond RA. They will be the group with binoculars and spotting scopes. Bring your own to help out.
