VSU Summer Study Abroad Program: Turkey
Istanbul, Turkey - International Studies
A unique city with a centuries-old history undergoing a period of rapid urbanization and transformation … Istanbul, Turkey, is an ideal destination for students who have a desire to delve deeper into the world of international business. As you visit multinational companies and explore fascinating museums, churches, monuments, palaces, bazaars, and more, you will develop an appreciation of cultural differences and how they could potentially impact both business and society. Ignite your passion and fuel your experience as you spend 28 days in the former capital of Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman empires and investigate the many challenges and opportunities of an interconnected global economy.
Duration: May 18 - June 14, 2015
Location: Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey.
Costs: $3300 plus VSU tuition and fees. If you are taking only summer study abroad courses you will be charged tuition for the number of credit hours you take plus $295 institutional fee. If you take 4 credit hours or less on study abroad, you will only be charged half of the institutional fee ( $147.50).
Program cost includes airfare, insurance, accommodation, most in-country transportation, course-related field trips, excursions and most meals.
Students who are accepted and pay the deposits will receive a $350 Georgia Gulf Sulfur Corporation Scholarship. Maximum capacity is limited to 10 students.

VSU Exchange Program: Abant Izzet Baysal University, Turkey
Located in the city of Bolu, between Ankara, the capital city, and Istanbul, the largest and most famous city in Turkey. The region presents a lovely and rich natural and cultural content. The teaching language of the university is Turkish except the Faculty of Science and Art where the courses are taught in English.
Cost: VSU tuition and fees, housing and meals in Bolu, airfare, and spending money.
VSU Exchange Program: Yeditepe University, Turkey
Yeditepe University is located in the city of Istanbul, the seat of the Byzantine Empire and the largest and most famous city in Turkey. The language of instruction is English except for courses in Turkish literature.
Cost: VSU tuition and fees, housing and meals in Instanbul, airfare, and spending money.
