Become A Mentor...
Welcome to the Alumni Career Coach Program Presented Within the ACE Center of Career Opportunities
About Our Program
The focus of the Alumni Career Coach Program is to provide career guidance and empowerment to a fellow Blazer. The Alumni Career Coach will demonstrate pride for VSU, professionalism, ethics, hard work, and passion for Blazer career success. This voluntary program is designed to guide students through their undergraduate and graduate experience at Valdosta State University. Typically, the ACC is paired at the start of the academic semester. Nonetheless, we hope that these relationships continue beyond the college experience. An ACC can be a resource that can benefit a Blazer for a long time into their future. The number of mentees that an ACC can partner with will be up to the Alumni Career Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will contact the ACC mentor prior to the pairing. Meetings between the student and Alumni Career Coach are facilitated by the participants. The frequency of these meetings will be agreed upon by the mentor and mentee.
