The Valdosta State Difference

The management program at Valdosta State, part of the university’s esteemed Langdale College of Business, boasts a top-notch faculty whose members are nationally recognized in their fields. Students work closely with professors in and out of class and also have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in their field by participating in the Valdosta State Co-op Program and completing internships. All students are invited to join the award-winning organization Students in Free Enterprise, and students who excel in the major may be inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, an honor society for top business students. Management students have the unique opportunity to experience the business world overseas by accompanying faculty members on an annual trip to Germany. During the four-week trip, students learn about German culture and various aspects of business and take field trips to major German corporations.
