J. Donald Lee Center for Entrepreneurship Business Plan Pitch Application Form

BUSINESS PLAN PITCH is best for student entrepreneurs who are ready to start their business or may have started a business already, and want to grow it. During the program, we will coach you through the process of developing a business plan. When you are finished you will have a professional business plan that is ready to present at the pitch event. You will also be ready to request funding to help move your business to the next level.

 TO APPLY Please describe your business in only one or two paragraphs. Please include these points in your description.

• The name of your business or business idea.
• Product or service description.
• Who are your potential customers?
• What stage is your business in now? For example, pre-start-up, early start-up, side-hustle? If your business earns revenue now, about how much per week or per year?
• Where do you want your business to be a year from now, five years from now?
• What do you want to gain from participating in this event?

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION

1. You must be a VSU student, currently enrolled and in good academic standing
2. You must meet the timelines for submissions to participate in the pitch event
3. You must participate in program workshops to be eligible for the final pitch event and financial awards
