Library signage communicates general and specific messages to Valdosta State University students, staff, and faculty. Effective signage empowers library visitors, improves their perception of the building, and assists in navigation.

The members of the library's Signage Committee are responsible for identifying needs for new signage and monitoring existing signage. Having clear, uniform signs contributes to the library's mission to support students, staff, and faculty.

Flyers, promotional, and informational materials may be posted by students, groups, and other non-library personnel only on the library's bulletin board located in the Internet Café, near the first floor entrance. These materials must be campus related and approved by the Lending Services Staff before posting. Signage posted without approval will be removed.

Temporary or permanent signs, excluding the bulletin board, must be submitted to the library's Signage Committee and approved by the Dean of Libraries. Signage posted without authorization will be removed. To start the approval process, contact Laura Wright at lbwright@valdosta.edu.

Please report inaccurate, damaged, or confusing signage to the library's Signage Committee. Report issues using the Contact Us form or email Kytt Everdeen Moore at kytt@valdosta.edu
