VSU Discusses Climate Change April 19
VALDOSTA — Valdosta State University’s Philosophy and Religious Studies Club and Students Against Violating the Environment (S.A.V.E.) will present “The Local Impacts of Climate Change” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, in Odum Library Auditorium.
Faculty, staff, students, retirees, alumni, and friends of the university are welcome to attend.
A panel of experts — Dr. Michael Noll from the Department of Physics, Astronomy, and Geosciences; Dr. Diane Holliman from the Department of Social Work; Dr. Jason Allard from the Department of Physics, Astronomy, and Geosciences; and Rev. Floyd Rose of Serenity Christian Church — will discuss the environmental, economic, and social effects of climate change in the Valdosta-Lowndes County area.
