Muncy Gives Langdale Lecture Tonight
VALDOSTA - The Langdale College of Business will host Jim Muncy,
professor of marketing and economics at Valdosta State University,
during the next installment of the Langdale Lecture Series at 5
p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in the Pound Hall Auditorium.
Muncy holds a Ph. D. in Business Administration from Texas Tech and
taught for almost thirty years at various institutions, including
the University of Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Clemson University and VSU.
For five years, he was the executive director of the largest
consumer research association in the world.
Author of "A Few Keys to All Success: Discovering the Best Person I
Can Become," Muncy has distributed his writings among colleagues
internationally. He has won many awards for teaching and his
participation in martial arts and speaks frequently to business
firms, civic groups and religious organizations.
Muncy will address his next crowd at Pound Hall, located at the VSU
Rea & Lillian Steele North Campus bordered by Patterson and
Ashley Streets, as well as Pendleton Drive. Guest parking is
