Tech Shop Receives top Honor From Apple

VALDOSTA - The Valdosta State University Tech Shop was chosen as an Apple Profile for Success and received the Sudden Impact Award from Apple on June 17, at a conference in Atlanta.

“To receive this honor in the first year of sales with Apple is wonderful,” Jed Brogdon, Tech Shop Manager, said. “I have worked very hard with Apple and the university to make this a success story.”

Valdosta State along with the University of Georgia and Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn. were recognized for their unbelievable success in just one year of business. The VSU Tech Shop is the only authorized Apple reseller in Valdosta and it carries the entire line of Apple products from iPods to MacBooks, including the Apple MacBook Air. Located on the first floor of Langdale Hall, it is open 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday.
