Valdosta State University plans fall Commencement ceremonies

Valdosta State University will hold the fall 2005 commencement ceremonies on Saturday, December 10, in the P.E. Complex on Baytree Road. Approximately 770 candidates have applied to graduate.

The 10 a.m. session will include the Harley Langdale, Jr. College of Business Administration, the College of Education and Air Force ROTC. The 2:00 p.m. session will include the College of the Arts, the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Nursing and the Division of Social Work.

Banner carriers are individuals with the highest overall GPA recorded for each college. Fall banner carriers are Andrea Lynne Rogers, College of the Arts; Jennifer Nicole Ritter, College of Arts and Sciences; Laura E. Pedelty, Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration; Katherine Backes Brown, College of Education; Jessica Leigh Johnson, College of Nursing; and Jessica Brawner Webb and Patricia A. Beet, Graduate School.

The public is invited to attend the commencement ceremony. Guests in need of special seating arrangements should contact the Access Office by calling 229-245-2498 (voice) or 229-219-1348 (TTY).
