Dr. Connie Porcaro is a Professor and the Department Head of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Education and Human Services at Valdosta State University. Dr. Porcaro received her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. She teaches courses related to adult neurogenic speech disorders. Her research interests include speech intelligibility, including how speech-language pathologists can work with clients and their listeners in order to improve understanding.
