Our Services

Printing & Copying Services offers campus customers a range of services from one color to full color process offset printing, B/W digital copying to full color digital copying, large format inkjet printing, bindery and related print services. Our services are for campus departments only. Services are not available for resale to the general public or students due to sales tax and income tax issues. If a department or organization has a budget account at VSU through Financial Services then that account can be used to order items. In accordance with university procedures, all applicable printing must be submitted to our on-campus Print Shop. How To Order

Custom-Designed Printed Pieces

Creative Service’s mission is to conceptualize, design, and produce solutions that communicate Valdosta State’s message in the most effective and creative methods. We will work closely with you to ensure that your marketing materials are eye-catching and tailored to your intended audience, while also supporting the mission and visual identity standards of Valdosta State. Stay in-house and get your projects designed and printed on campus. Creative Services can assist in the design and pre-press set-up for all your marketing materials. All design work requested by any campus office must be submitted to Creative Services for approval before printing if going to an external audience. Contact Creative Service’s Project Coordinator, Joan Dear, to get your new marketing publication started, incorporating the new VSYOU branding. If you submit your publication directly to the Print Shop and it does not meet the university’s visual identity standards, it will need to be re-worked by Design Services and may push back your timeline for project completion. See the university’s Visual Identity Guide for publication guidelines.

Stationery

Contact Creative Services Project Coordinator, Joan Dear, to place an order for new or a reprint of official university stationery. The only cost is printing, there is no charge for design set-up. A Service Request Form with the appropriate account numbers, department information, and two signatures for approval must to be submitted with your order. Please read over our Service Request Form Guide for help with completing the form. All stationery items needed can be placed on one Service Request together. For those departments that do not supply business cards, individuals may purchase their own cards by cash or check. In this event you will still need to submit a Service Request for billing. Once Design Services receives all information for your order, you will receive a proof and have the option of making edits before approval to go to print. See our Stationery Price List for current pricing. For information on the steps to order business cards, please look over our How to Order Business Cards Guide.

Copying

Quick copy, black and white, or full color jobs for internal/on-campus use can be sent directly to Printing & Copying Services. Complete a Service Request Form for the cost of printing and submit along with your order. Please read over our Service Request Form Guide for help with completing the form. Any job going to external/off-campus audiences must be approved by Creative Services before printing and may be subject to redesign if it does not meet current visual identity and marketing standards. To submit a design for approval, send artwork to Joan Dear, Creative Services Project Coordinator.
