The College of the Arts and the Department of Music offer the Master of Music Education (M.M.Ed.) degree. The M.M.Ed. curriculum builds upon the knowledge and skills of music educators.
Master of Music Education (M.M.Ed.)
The M.M.Ed. curriculum is designed for teachers who wish to gain advanced skills in music instruction and education. The program focuses on music teaching and the materials and methodology of musical instructions, as well as developing competence at understanding and evaluating music and music education research. Graduates of the program qualify for a certification increase from the 4- to 5-year level.
