Request for Letter of Good Standing

Important! Only Graduate Student Advisors can initiate requests for Letters of Good Standing.  Students should not use transient forms from the Registrar's Office.  Advisors - please complete all sections.  (Please note that graduate students who seek transfer credit should consult with their advisor to see if a course is appropriate for transfer credit, and to determine how many hours can be transferred based upon the policies of a given program.)

    • Advisor's VSU e-mail address.

    • Include first, middle, and last names.

    • Include street address, city, state, and zip code.
    • Include course prefix, number, title, and credit hours for all courses.
    • When will the course(s) be taken?
    • Include a brief justification for the request.
