 What’s Inside the Center?

  • Main Hub Area: A dynamic space for networking, collaboration, or quiet study, equipped with tables, built-in outlets, iPads, and a 55” interactive touch monitor for presentations.
  • 3D Printing Room: Turn your ideas into reality with our professional 3D printer! The center offers a selection of filament, and you can also bring your own.
  • Podcast Room: Create professional recordings with our fully equipped podcast studio, including microphones, cameras, and soundproofing.
  • Green Screen Zone: Perfect your presentations with high-quality video recordings and green screen effects, complete with editing software.
  • Social Media Zone: Create top-notch social media content using our background stand, ring lights, and editing tools.
  • Ideation Zone: Brainstorm, study, and develop your ideas with access to whiteboards, computers, and a comfortable space.
  • Collaboration Room: A quiet, inviting office-like space for focused work, research, or meetings, complete with business books and a computer.

How to Use the Center 

To access the Center, you can either make a reservation or drop in during available times. 

Reservations can be made by emailing jdlcenter@valdosta.edu

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations take priority. 

The Center is located on the first floor of Pound Hall on the Rae and Lillian Steele North Campus, next to the Health Sciences and Business Administration building. The Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
