The Department of Accounting at Valdosta State University prepares you for success in the business arena with competitive, AACSB-accredited degree programs that will develop your communication and problem-solving skills. Our programs provide the hands-on experience you’re seeking, and all accounting courses are available in both traditional (face-to-face) and online formats. Our accounting students are active with both the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and Beta Alpha Psi (BAP). In addition, VSU accounting students have the opportunity to use internships (paid or unpaid) for course credit. As an accounting student at VSU, you will gain experience with some of the most popular business software (e.g., SAP), and you’ll work with experienced faculty mentors who are invested in your success.
