Technology Assistance for Students and Employees During Virtual Instruction

VSU students work on computers in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

VALDOSTA, Ga. - Students, faculty, and staff at Valdosta State University needing technology assistance following Hurricane Helene can get it. VSU's Information Technology team has the below information to share.

Virtual Computer Lab: You may access various licensed software (ex: SPSS, SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.) while off-campus through VSU virtual computer labs. The virtual computers are available on a first-come; first-served basis, Monday-Sunday, 24 hours a day; each user is allotted 3 hours per log-in session.
Visit www.valdosta.edu/administration/it/virtual-labs.php for details.

Microsoft 365: At no charge, you can install Microsoft 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Word, Excel, and more ) on your personal devices. Also, by logging in to MyVSU, you can access Microsoft 365 web applications.

Loaner Laptops: Through the New Media Center - www.valdosta.edu/media, students and employees can borrow a laptop and other equipment for academic purposes by submitting the Borrower Agreement Request Form.
