Emergency Relief Fund for Students and Employees Following Helene

Damage along the Azalea Trail on Valdosta State University's campus following Hurricane Helene.

VALDOSTA, Ga. - In the wake of Hurricane Helene, we understand that many in our community may be facing unexpected hardships. Through the generous support of donors to the VSU Cares fund, we are able to offer some financial support to faculty, staff, and students who have been impacted by the storm. Those interested in donating to the fund can find the link below.

While we have received several donations, please note that funds are limited and unfortunately, we will not be able to assist everyone in need. If you have been severely impacted and in need of financial assistance, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

To apply, please click the link below and complete the application process:

**Students MUST be logged into MyVSU and into BlazerLink in order to fill out the form. An email was sent to all students at 9:55 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9 on how to properly access the form via either cell phone or desktop/laptop computer. When putting in the amount of money requested, students should NOT put a dollar sign. Also, the documents submitted cannot be an image. They should be typed in Microsoft Word, saved, and then uploaded.
