CORE Summer Trips
VALDOSTA -- Valdosta State University’s Center for Outdoor Recreational Experiences (CORE) is leading four trips during the summer months. These outdoor program trips are run through Campus Recreation and are fun, safe opportunities for students with any level of experience to explore Georgia and the southeast, meet other students and gain outdoor skills. Trips are open to VSU students, faculty and staff and are led by a well-trained staff that has experience leading trips and advanced wilderness medical training. Wakulla Kayaking
June 16
Awesome, clear, cool water and kayaking with manatees
$25 students, $30 faculty & staff
Whitewater Rafting
June 23 - 24
Includes transportation, camping, equipment and rafting
$45 students, $55 faculty & staff
Ichetucknee Tubing
July 14
Experience the coolest place to be in the south on a hot day! Float down a cool, clear river relaxing with friends.
$15 students, $20 faculty & staff
Whitewater Rafting
July 21 - 22
Includes transportation, camping, equipment and rafting
$45 students, $55 faculty & staff
