VALDOSTA -- Valdosta State University Interim President Louis H.
Levy and other university representatives will travel through the
state during the 2012 V-State Experience Tour, January 25 -- March
1.
The first stop on the annual tour is January 25 in Augusta, Ga., at
the Doubletree Hotel. The seven-city tour concludes on March 1 in
Albany, Ga.
The receptions are open to VSU alumni and prospective high school
students. High school students are invited to attend the reception
and explore all that Valdosta State has to offer.
“Students and parents are encouraged to come speak with university
representatives about the admissions process, including financial
aid and housing,” said Director of Alumni Relations John Trombetta.
“This is a great opportunity for students and their families to get
questions answered by key VSU personnel. They can learn more about
the university’s wide range of academic programs and ask questions
about the admissions process from start to finish.”
The receptions also provide a way for VSU representatives to
connect with alumni and friends of the university across
Georgia.
“The receptions allow us to meet alumni and friends of the
university where they live and work,” said Trombetta. “It gives our
alumni across the state a chance to reconnect with their alma mater
and find out how Valdosta State is growing and how they can stay
connected to the university.”
