Office of Housing and Residence Life Sponsors Annual RoomDecorating Contest

VALDOSTA -- The Office of Housing and Residence Life is sponsoring its annual Room Decorating Contest. The judging will take place the week of September 19.

Each year, the office calls for students to enter their residence hall rooms in the contest. This year there are 72 rooms signed up to participate. The contest is judged on style, organization, uniqueness and cleanliness. One male and one female room from each hall are announced as winners.

The winners receive prize baskets from the office and the rooms are used for tours on Visitation Days. Additionally, pictures of the rooms are used for promotional materials for the office and the institution.
