Symposium Highlights Graduate Research
VALDOSTA -- Valdosta State University’s Graduate School will
host the third annual Graduate Student Research & Scholarship
Symposium from 4 to 6 p.m. April 29, in the University Center
Magnolia Room.
The public is invited to view 33 projects that span all areas of
graduate research, scholarship and creative endeavors. Topics
include the study of Australian-born composer Percy Aldridge
Grainger; zygotic mutants of the mangrove killifish; the Camilla,
Ga., race riot and massacre of Sept. 1868; parents’ access to
healthy food choices in Cook County, Ga.; and the relationship
between movie genre preference and romantic ideals.
