Ballroom Champion to Host Master Class

VALDOSTA -- Ballroom Cabaret Champion Dr. Carolyn Picart will teach a master class from 5-6 p.m. on Friday, March 4, in the VSU’s Dance Studio, University Center Room 2108.

The master class, which is open to the public, will feature a variety of dance moves from the 2006 Champion of the U.S. Worlds Pro Am Cabaret Dancesport. in 2005, she ranked second nationally at the U.S. Open in Cabaret. Beyond her extensive ballroom dancing experience, Picart is an educator, researcher and writer. Many people may know her as the producer and host of the "Dr. Caroline 'Kay' Picart Show" in Tallahassee, Florida.
