VSU Police Give an All Clear to University Center South
VALDOSTA -- Valdosta State University Police gave an “all clear”
to reopen University Center South at 1:30 p.m. today. VSU Police
evacuated University Center South, in response to a written threat
that was found in the building at approximately 9:30 a.m. Classes
for VSU and the South Georgia College Entry Program will resume
today at 2 p.m.
This morning, a campus-wide email was sent to all faculty, staff,
and students notifying them to remain clear of the south end of the
University Center until further notice. VSU Police along with Moody
Air Force Base K-9 bomb team performed a search of the building and
no threat was identified.
