Early one morning, Monkey receives a phone call from his friends, Brown Bear and Buddy Bear.

They were coming from the forest and wanted to have breakfast before their winter nap.

Monkey was so excited to have his friends coming by for breakfast. He wanted to make something special for their visit. Monkey thought and thought and thought: "I know, I'll make monkey bread from monkey dough." First Monkey needed to find his recipe and gather his ingredients. He needed:

2 cans of biscuit dough, cut in 4ths

1/2 stick of margarine

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

2 tsp. cinnamon

First, he buttered his pan. Next, he cut up his biscuits. Then, he measured the sugar.

In a plastic Ziploc bag, mix 1 cup sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon.Place cut-up biscuits in bag and shake.

Place the mixture in a Bundt or tube pan.

On the stovetop, add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. cinnamon, and 1/2 stick margarine to a sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Pour mixture over biscuit pieces in pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Check after 30 minutes. Invert pan immediately to cool.

Just as Monkey was taking the bread from the oven, Brown Bear and Buddy Bear came walking from the forest. The weather was so beautiful outside, Monkey and his friends enjoyed a breakfast picnic of milk and monkey bread.
