Valdosta State University Campus Recreation Announces the Return of the Haunted Trail!

Valdosta, GA – Valdosta State University Campus Recreation is excited to announce the return of the highly anticipated Haunted Trail, running nightly from October 25 to October 30, starting at 7 PM. This thrilling event will take place at the VSU Challenge Course, located behind the Student Recreation Center.

The Haunted Trail guarantees a spine-tingling experience as participants navigate a series of frightful scenes designed to test their bravery and offer a memorable Halloween adventure. This event is recommended for individuals aged 13 and older, ensuring a suitably spooky experience for older teens and adults.

Tickets for the Haunted Trail are just $10 per person, making it an affordable way to enjoy a night of fright and fun. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to fully immerse themselves in all the eerie excitement the trail has to offer.

Rules & Warnings for the Haunted Trail

  • Do not touch anyone.
  • Our actors will not touch you.
  • Follow the lights on the trail.
  • Please refrain from using flashlights.
  • Secure all loose items and jewelry before going on the trail.
  • If anything is lost, it will be returned to the lost and found at the Student Recreation Center.
  • Watch your step - the ground is uneven.
  • Stay together on the trail and do not separate.

Warning: There are strobe lights on this trail.  There will be jump scares as well as sudden loud noises and tight spaces.  If you have any medical or psychological problems that would cause issues with these features of the trail, it is not recommended that you go on this trail, for your safety.  If you have issues walking on uneven ground, this trail will be difficult due to the fact that it is in the forest and there are roots/obstacles to step on or over.
