Parent Conferences

Parental involvement has been associated with students’ academic, social, and emotional development. A strategy for improving students’ success is building parent-school partnerships.

One aspect of the parent-school partnership is the parent-teacher conference which is an important component of ongoing home–school communication and family involvement. The ability to effectively communicate with parents, especially during parent-teacher conferences, is one of the most important strategies teachers can utilize.
