Educational Technology
Because technology advancements rapidly occur in our world, new teachers are encouraged to investigate the technology resources and equipment available to them in the schools where they teach and to continually participate in professional development related to technology. The following resources are just the beginning to the many educational technology tools that a new teacher will encounter in his or teaching career.
Technology is everywhere and impacts everyone. When technology is used properly, technology may help students acquire the skills they need to be successful in a multifaceted, highly technological world. Technology integration can be achieved when the technology supports four key components of learning: active engagement, participation in groups, frequent interaction and feedback, and connection to real-world experts.
