The Valdosta State University Beta Alpha Psi - Mu Zeta Chapter was recognized as one of 15 Gold Chapters at the annual meeting held from August 7-9, 2014 in Atlanta, GA.  This was the second year in a row that the chapter received this recognition.  The award placed our chapter in the top 4% of all Beta Alpha Psi chapters worldwide and demonstrated that we go above and beyond what is expected of most chapters.  In order to become a Gold Chapter, Mu Zeta had to meet the following requirements;

  • Been a Superior Chapter for school years 2013 and 2104
  • Participated in a regional meeting, either as a meeting host/co-host, chapter operations presenter or Best Practices competitor
  • Participate in the 2014 Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA, either as a meeting host/co-host, chapter operations presenter or Best Practices competitor

The KPMG Foundation sponsors the KPMG Gold Challenge Competition. The competition lets BAP students put their multimedia skills to use by creating a 5-minute video that explains and/or demonstrates why their chapter deserves the award.
