About the program

Want to earn summer credits in a beautiful, exciting environment? Want to build up your résumé to show future employers that you are a student who can take and meet challenges and knows how to interact in a diverse world?   Then come study abroad in Panama! Panama is a safe, beautiful country with many friendly people and great outdoor activities!  Misty, verdant hillsides, coffee and citrus fincas, orchids, quetzals, and rainbows describe Panama’s precious town of  Boquete , known as the land of eternal spring.  Lonely Planet calls it the Napa Valley of coffee, because of its cool climate and fertile volcanic soil. We will go hiking up a volcano, horseback riding, snorkeling and then we will spend 4 days in internationally known cosmopolitan Panama City where we will toru the canal and see the sights.  Why? Studying abroad introduces you to a whole new world and helps you develop an awareness and appreciation for others as well as an ability to understand your own self and culture better. It broadens your world and your perspective.
