The chemistry department maintains seven teaching laboratories and six faculty research laboratories. All of the laboratories are modern, well-lighted and attractive.

The laboratories are supported by a centralized stockroom in which supplies of glassware, equipment and chemicals are maintained.

The department has a number of small portable instruments such as potentiometers, oscilloscopes, voltammetric analyzers, pH meters and colorimeters available for all students in their chemistry courses. In addition, the chemistry department has several pieces of equipment available to upper-division chemistry majors for research projects and class assignments.
