Where is the Office of Social Equity (OSE)?

We are located at 1208 Patterson Street in Valdosta in the Seago House. You will find our office across from the University Center, beside the STEAM Center for Applied Creativity and Innovation. Look for the big white house with the red door.

Who can visit the office?

Any and all VSU students are welcome to visit our office and enjoy the computer lab, quiet spaces, and work areas.  We ask that you sign-in in the front lobby.

The office is open Monday –Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

What services does OSE provide to students?

OSE hosts several diversity events throughout the year for students to attend and enjoy.    At our office, students can relax on our comfortable couches, visit with friends, and browse through the resource room. OSE is also responsible for the development of a positive campus environment for students and assists the University in the recruitment and retention of students from various cultures.
