Importing Bookmarks in Google Chrome

Step 1:

Double-click on the Google Chrome icon on the desktop.

Step 2:

After Google Chrome opens, click on the Customize and Control Google Chrome wrench.

Next, click on Bookmarks in the drop down menu.

Step 3:

Next, to the left select Import bookmarks and settings...

select Import bookmarks and settings

 

Step 4:

Click on the Import data from another browser... button located in the Browsing data area.

Step 5:

Under the From drop down box, select which browser you would like to import the bookmarks from.

In the From drop down field select which browser you would like to import from.

Step 6:

Make sure there all the items are selected to be imported and then click on the Import button.

Check the boxes next to Browsing History, Favorites, Saved passwords, and search engines. Then click Import.

 

Step 7:

Now you should have a new bookmarks folder called Imported from IE.

Congratulations!

You have successfully imported your bookmarks into Google Chrome!
