Document Sharing

Step 1:

Double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop.

 

 

Step 2:

Double-click the public on 'vsu' (V:) icon. This icon may also be referred to as the shared drive icon.

 

 

Step 3:

Double-click the the shared appropriate folder to access documents stored within it. See the list below the picture for details on what is contained in each of these folders.

 

  • Students
    • Students will see a folder named class.
      • Within this sub-folder, students will see folders for each class they are enrolled in.
      • These sub-folders will contain documents the respective instructors are sharing with their class.
  • Faculty
    • Faculty will see a folder named class.
      • Within this sub-folder, faculty will see folders for each class they are teaching.
      • By adding files to the respective class sub-folder, faculty can make them available to students enrolled in the class.
    • Faculty will also see a folder named dept.
      • By adding files to this folder, faculty can make them available to all employees within the department.
  • Staff
    • Staff will see a folder named dept.
      • By adding files to this folder, staff can make them available to all employees within the department or division.
