Welcome to Campus Wellness

Campus Wellness LogoWe hope you find these web pages useful as you look for programs and resources to assist you in a healthy lifestyle. VSU's wellness initiative is maintained by volunteers who serve on a University-wide committee. Committee co-chairs are elected every two years. Currently, Ms. Rebecca Murphy serves as the Co-chair. All of our programs and resources are open to faculty, staff, and students of VSU unless a program is indicated for a special audience. Below you will find links to on-going programs.

Campus Wellness will be hosting Living Well with Diabetes Thursday, March 13 in Student Union Meeting Room 1&2 from 3-4:15 p.m. Come out and learn how to live well with diabetes from our expert panel.

There will also be a cooking demonstration from VSU's chef, who will prepare healthy, quick snacks for people with diabetes. The event is FREE and open to all faculty, staff and students. Free health information and free blood pressure screenings will be available to all participants.

Register by Friday, March 7 at www.valdosta.edu/training. You can still attend the event if you miss registration.

Wait, there's more! Share a personal story about your struggle or triumph with diabetes at www.tinyurl.com/livingwelldiabetes. Stories will be used during the event.

We look forward to seeing you there!
