Laundry Alert
Laundry Alert is a great way for you to keep track of which machines are available in the laundry room of your choice!
Head to Laundry Alert and log in by typing in "vsu6168" in the field above the sign in button. From there, you can view the
status of all washers and dryers in all of the residence halls on VSU's campus!
Even cooler, you can click the "let me know" tap on the left and tell Laundry Alert to sent to an e-mail or text message* when your laundry is ready! No more guessing!
*Regular text messaging fees apply and depend on your service provider.
HallNet
VSU
HallNet is Valdosta State University's solution to the problem of student internet access. HallNet consists of a wireless ethernet network combined with high speed internet access and state of the art security
features to protect students from malicious attacks.
Along with high speed access to the World Wide Web, HallNet also gives campus residents access to campus services such as Banner and BlazeVIEW.
If you have some features you would like to see added or other ideas for HallNet, feel free to contact us.
Getting Local Phone Service
Local phone service is not provided in the residence hall student rooms. If you would like to order local access, you will need to contact the AT&T Residential Sales and place an order with your address, including residence hall and room number.
Local: (229) 293-9309
At this site you will find the current rates, installation, termination and any promotions that may be available at the time of your order. If you change rooms, new installation charges will apply. In addition, if you were to choose a longer term contract, there may be penalties for canceling early, (AT&T does not recommend you choose a long term agreement, but just in case). Once you are ready to leave for the year, you would need to cancel the line via the web or by phone. In the event you do not do this, billing will continue, and you would be responsible. Basically, you will be treated as a new residential AT&T customer with options for any of their services that qualify for our location on campus and any of the responsibilities that go along with it. You will also need to be prepared to provide credit information at the time of the order.
