Visitors not affiliated with the university are free to consult materials while in the library. You must have borrower's privileges to check material out. I'm not affiliated with the university. May I get a library card and charge materials out?Local residents who are not affiliated with VSU and have research needs that cannot be met by the public library, may apply for a community borrower's card.
How many books can I check out? There is no set limit on the number of materials which may be checked out by currently enrolled fee paid VSU students and currently employed staff and faculty. What is the loan period for circulating items?

Online renewal is available from the Library's website underneath the left red 'Main Menu' select My Library Account and log into the Renewals Online & Due Dates account. The feature films on "Course Reserves" intended for in-building viewing circulate for only four hours.
