Meet your Instructors...

Roberta Veatch

Artist Roberta Veatch studied fine arts at Arizona State University. She has been painting and working with oils and acrylics for over 25 years. Her love for color and design prompted a certification in color therapy and most recently Expressive Arts. In addition to being an accomplished artist she has owned and operated an art gallery in Arizona with Vicki where they supported artists and taught a variety of workshops. She served as a docent for the ASU Fine Arts
Museum and has a degree in Spiritual Counseling from The Ageless Wisdom University in Scottsdale, AZ. She has taught art to children and adults in the pursuit of helping others find their creative spirit!

Vicki Gaia

Vicki Gaia is a mixed media and collage artist and writer. Creativity is a way of life for Vicki, and she is inspired from her travels and the world around her. She attended art school at San Diego State University and graduated with honors. Vicki owned Alchemy Arts with Roberta, an art gallery that showcased local artists, and provided a safe, fun place for people to discover their creative spark. Teaching has become one of her joys, and she learns just as much from her
students by the sharing of creative ideas and experiences.

Student Comments

Student journal sample - Global Inspiration       I think this program has been excellent. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable as well as very intuitive regarding response and feedback. They truly inspired participation in the process. I truly benefited from this course. It was very well organized and each week expanded upon the previous. There was an excellent balance of structure and flexibility.     ~ Patricia Ballentine

I am very grateful for Roberta and Vicki for helping to welcome art making back into my life. From frustrated and overwhelmed, the assignments moved to a place where I felt empowered and joyful. I re-discovered that creativity IS fun, it transforms and it transcends. I found my creative voice and I did so on my own time while still being virtually connected with others in the class and I enjoyed the teachers and students’ supportive comments. I am hooked and happy to be continuing on this path! Thank you

I originally took Rituals of creativity to improve my photography.  I learned that being creative does not mean you have to be an ‘artist’   to be creative.  The class encouraged me to explore my creative side. My favorite section was on shapes.  I enjoyed learning about different techniques people used to create their journals and inspiration card.  I now keep a journal/diary  that is more expressive. I also have one tag that has stayed with me.    It states:  NOTED THIS IS REAL LIFE DOCUMENTING THE EVERYDAY.  ~ Angela Acosta
