2014 Online Lifeline Conference - Feb. 20-21
Valdosta State University is excited to host the 2014 Online lifeline Conference located on our historic and picturesque main campus. The 2013 conference was a great success with over 208 participants from many University System of Georgia institutions as well as participants from Texas, Minnesota, Florida and Canada. Continued growth is anticipated again this year as participants come together to share and explore cutting-edge technologies used in a variety of learning environments.
Share your expertise, techniques, and the technology tools you are utilizing to support teaching and learning in your courses and programs during the 2-day conference. We encourage proposals from faculty and staff in all departments and domains. The theme of this year's conference is "Tell Me Something I Don't Know"! New this year is conference tracks providing more in depth focus on specific areas. These include:
- Emerging Technologies
- Instructional Design
- Student Engagement
- Video / Media Production
With four different proposal options, you will have many opportunities to participate.
- Concurrent Conference Session Presentations (45 minutes)
- Hands-on Workshops (45 Minutes or 90 Minutes)
- Panel Discussions (45 minutes)
- Poster & E-Posters Session (held during Technology Showcase on Thursday evening, February 20)
Selected presenters will have papers and conference materials published in V-Text (institutional digital repository of scholarly texts and other research).
