Future Students

With over 50 undergraduate majors and over 55 graduate programs, Valdosta State University (VSU) is ready to help you achieve your academic and professional goals.  Our small size and strong community give you the personal attention to help you succeed through opportunities to work closely with our teaching-focused and work-class faculty.  In addition to our traditional face-to-face classes and programs, VSU is expanding online options at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  These online programs give adult and military learners as well as working professionals the opportunity to complete an undergraduate or graduate degree with the flexibility they need.  Traditional undergraduate students can also take advantage of online undergraduate degrees delivered through eMajor or pick up online courses to complete their core requirements through eCore®.  Online certificates and endorsements are also available.

eCore Logo
The eCore® courses are core curriculum classes taught via GoVIEW, powered by Desire2Learn and are designed for students who need the flexibility and convenience of online learning. Core classes are typically those classes required during the first two years of a college degree. Since not all core curriculum classes will be available as eCore®, you may need to take some core classes in a traditional classroom setting.

eMajor Logo

eMajor will provide undergraduate online degrees through traditional, public institutions in the University System of Georgia. Our innovative approach allows students to earn credits for prior learning and reduce the time to graduation.

Adult & Military Programs:

The Office of Adult & Military Programs (AMP) provides service and support to “non-traditional” learners.  If you are an independent adult, member of the military, military veteran, or a professional who wishes to earn a college degree, AMP can help you achieve your goals.
