Asia Council Summer Study Program: Intensive Chinese at Yangzhou University, China

An unforgettably rewarding experience living and studying at Yangzhou University with weekend excursions to Beijing, Nanjing, Huangshan National Park, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai. Learn to cook Chinese food, practice Tai Qi, and bargain in the markets. Earn nine semester credits in Chinese at advanced, intermediate or beginning levels.

Asia Council Summer Program: Zhengzhou University, China

The 2012 program offers courses in  art, economics, history, management, political science and psychology. Earn 6 undergraduate or graduate semester hours. The host institution is Zhengzhou University which has a student population of 35,000. The city is close to many historical and cultural sites including the famous Shaolin Monastery where martial arts traditions were established. The program fee includes round-trip airfare, lodging and most meals, field trips and excursions, most ground transportation, and visa application.
