VSU Theatre and Dance Offers Discounted Season Memberships

VALDOSTA — Valdosta State University Theatre and Dance season memberships are on sale now.

The 2016-2017 VSU Theatre and Dance season kicks off Thursday, Sept. 22, with a seven-performance run of Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice, a retelling of the myth of Orpheus from the perspective of Eurydice, his wife. The season continues throughout the fall and spring semesters with Transcendance: The Annual Dance Concert, Into the Woods, Just So, Sylvia, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

VSU Theatre and Dance season memberships include six individual admissions to be used as desired by the individual member with advance reservations. The cost is $86.46 for the general public and $80.04 for VSU faculty and staff and includes all taxes and fees. Students with a valid VSU 1Card are admitted free of charge.

Season memberships may be purchased by contacting the on-campus VSU Theatre and Dance Box Office or by mailing a check to the attention of Duke Guthrie, VSU Theatre and Dance, Valdosta State University, 1500 N. Patterson St., Valdosta, Ga., 31698. Checks should be made payable to VSU Theatre and Dance.

The VSU Theatre and Dance Box Office is located on the first floor of the Fine Arts Building, at the intersection of Oak Street and Brookwood Drive, and may be reached by calling (229) 333-5973. It is open from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
