Career Opportunities Hosts Nursing and Health Professions Career Fair

VALDOSTA – The Office of Career Opportunities at Valdosta State University will host a Nursing and Health Professions Career Fair from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the lobby of the Health Sciences and Business Administration Building.

Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Behavioral Health Services of South Georgia, Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, Greenleaf Center, Mercer University Health Sciences Center in Macon, Houston Healthcare in Warner Robins, Lighthouse Nursing Agency in Perry, Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross, Navicent Health in Macon, Senior Fit Atlanta in Decatur, Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, South Georgia Medical Center, and Tift Regional Health System in Tifton are scheduled to attend.

Current students and alumni pursuing a degree in or considering a career in athletic training, dental hygiene, exercise physiology, and nursing are invited to attend.

Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and to bring several copies of their resume. A room will be available for the health professions representatives to conduct impromptu interviews.
