Black Student League Hosts Scream Fest Oct. 31

VALDOSTA — The Black Student League at Valdosta State University will host the fourth annual Scream Fest from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, on the front lawn.

All students are welcome. A valid university identification card is required.

Cameron Griffin, a junior biology major from Savannah and event coordinator, said that there will be plenty of free food, games, and music for everyone who attends Scream Fest.

Volunteers are needed to assist with costumes and makeup and will receive community service credit.

The Black Student League strives to promote a more fluid transition into and throughout college life, to increase both participation in campus and community activities and an awareness of the accomplishments and contributions of minorities in each aspect of American society, and to coordinate between student concern and the administration.

Contact Cameron Griffin at camgriffin@valdosta.edu for more information.
