VSU Intramural Flag Football Team Competes in National Campus Championship Series

VALDOSTA – Valdosta State University’s flag football intramural team, Moose Attack, competed in the 2012 National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association National Campus Championship Series (NIRSA NCCS) Flag Football Championship on Jan. 4-6 at the University of Central Florida.

Moose attack defeated the University of Missouri, University of Western Carolina, Florida Gulf Coast University and Georgia Southern. The team made it to the final four losing to Angelo State University, who ended up being the national champions.

VSU's Logan Petrey was named to the National All-Tournament Team. Moose Attack’s impressive finish is the highest finish by a VSU flag football team.
