VSU vs. West Georgia Blood Drive
VALDOSTA -- VSU has teamed up with the American Red Cross to
host the VSU vs. West Georgia Blood Drive from 11:30 a.m. - 5:30
p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27 in the Student Union Ballroom.
With a goal of 200 pints, VSU is hoping to keep the trophy at VSU in this philanthropic battle! Walk-ins will be accepted, but appointments are encouraged. To set up an appointment, go to http://www.redcrossblood.org/make-donation, and use the sponsor code VSU. To sign up for a volunteer shift at the blood drive, stop by the Greek Life Office in the Student Union.
T-shirts are being sold for $6, and faculty, staff and students are encouraged to wear their shirts to the VSU vs. West Georgia football game on Saturday, Oct. 29. Contact Alisha Stabler at firstname.lastname@example.org to purchase a shirt, which can be picked up on Oct. 25.
Make plans to support VSU and the American Red Cross in the race against West Georgia, and remember that one blood donation can save three lives. For more information, please contact Stabler or Monique Byrd at email@example.com.
