Fall Convocation Scheduled for August 8
VALDOSTA -- Valdosta State University will officially start the
2011-12 academic year with the annual Fall Convocation at 10 a.m.
on Monday, Aug. 8, in the Whitehead Auditorium.
Interim President Louis H. Levy will address the campus community.
The presentation will air live on VSU-TV, channel 20 on Mediacom.
Rebroadcasts can be viewed at 10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8; 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 9; 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10; 11 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 11; 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12; noon and 7
p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13; noon and 10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14; and
midnight Monday, Aug. 15.
Following the convocation, VSU faculty and staff members are
invited to a luncheon in Palms Dining Center from 11:00 a.m. to 2
p.m.
