Return of the BlazeFest

VALDOSTA -- The Return of BlazeFest music will be held on the Valdosta State University front lawn Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. The festival is hosted by VSU’s radio station, WVVS BlazeFm 90.9.

The festival will feature live performances by local musical artists and bands, which include Trailer of Tears, FARM, DJ Scotti Jay, Rescue Blues, SIN, The Lindsey Paige Band, A-Team Movement, Time Vampires and Ninja Gun.

"This year’s return of BlazeFest is an amazing opportunity to showcase and create awareness for college radio and the flourishing local music scene in Valdosta," said Andrew Ritfeld, coordinator for the festival. “We will give away free t-shirts and there will also be stage appearances from representatives of Deep Release Poetry Society between bands.”
